Rich dynamics of a vegetation–water system with the hydrotropism effect

In recent years, with the abnormal global climate change, problem of desertification has become more and serious. The vegetation pattern is accompanied by desertification, thus, study helpful to better understand causes desertification. this work, we reveal influences hydrotropism on based a vegetation–water system in form reaction–diffusion equations. Parameter ranges for steady-state mode obtained analyzing show dynamic behavior near bifurcation point. Furthermore, found that not only induces spatial generation but also promotes growth itself area. Therefore, through patterns, can take corresponding preventive measures effectively prevent land improve stability ecosystem region.
